Cars and Trucks and Things That Go is a classic story that takes students on an adventure as they read about vehicles, both real and imagined. Students will yield and stop to think about things that go in their own communities. This module encourages preschoolers to think in more than one way and provides a safe place for students to park their ideas.
Before you begin...
Each Artful Reading Module is flexibly designed for a 2-3 week duration. Lessons are marked for Before-, During-, or After-Reading to guide your planning. We have added a sample of a Before Reading lesson entitled All the Things That Go for you to preview. Each lesson is designed in an easy to read format, with standards, materials needed, and step-by-step directions to ensure you are fully prepared when it’s time to deliver.
