Windows follows a young boy on a sunset stroll through his neighborhood. From inferencing and paraphrasing to structured peer-to-peer dialogue, this module encourages students to find wonder in the everyday. A study of stained-glass windows, sunset skies, and a musical investigation of the earth beneath their feet will take students on an adventure that leads them all the way to the core of the Earth. Students will look closely at streets, structures, and windows to find beauty in the design and views they provide while gaining appreciation for their very own neighborhood.
