Miss Rumphius is a story about a young girl whose grandfather inspired her to do three things in life: go to faraway places, live by the sea, and do something to make the world more beautiful. This module plants the seeds for flower exploration, world travels, and goal setting. Students are introduced to renowned flower artist, Georgia O’Keefe, get close-up and personal with real flowers, and learn pantomime as a way for collaborative story development.
