Iggy Peck, Architect is the story of a second grader who has a passion for building things. As a two-year-old, he builds a “leaning tower” out of diapers and the Great Sphinx in the backyard. The story describes and illustrates Iggy’s enthusiasm for buildings, and the challenges he faces and overcomes in his second grade classroom. This module explores the different types of architecture one could find when they travel the world. Students will analyze the variety of structures and get the opportunity for hands-on, real-world applications.
