The Story of Ferdinand is a timeless tale of a lovable bull who has no interest in the traditional Spanish sport of bullfighting. Using Ferdinand’s story as a springboard, students go deeper into the Spanish culture, exploring flamenco dancing and Spanish vocabulary. A lesson study on Pablo Picasso has students learning about and applying their understanding of cubism. Through dramatic movement and the use of props, students will get to bring the texts to life.
